As I was limited for time I found some quick projects to make inspired by YouTube and the net.
I wanted to give my friend some nice chocolates but present it in an interesting way so I found a great tutorial on YouTube for making a treat favour, looks like a cracker.
It turned out really well and was fun to decorate. I used ribbon and a paper doily as well as some flowers that I cut from felt and cardstock and layered up. The die for the flowers was from MFT (Layered flower).
To finish it off I punched some green leaves out of some glittered cardstock with my Martha Stewart punch and added a orange button and some jute twine.
The paper collection I used was by My Minds Eye called 'Hootenanny.' It is birthday themed so thought it would work well and my friend could add some birthday pictures.
I used a tutorial for this album that I found on the net, here is the link, give it a try!
Of course I had to make a quick box for the album, here it is:
Finally I will leave you with this, courtesy of Sizzix.
